Our Pastoral Search is Now Closed

We are pleased to announce that Steve Zwart has accepted the call for Lead Pastor at First CRC in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Check out the video announcement below.

Announcing Steve Zwart as the Candidate for Lead Pastor at First CRC

Dear First CRC congregation,

Exciting news! The Lead Pastor Search Committee and Council are pleased to announce Pastor Steve Zwart as the candidate for our Lead Pastor position.

Pastor Steve currently serves as the lead pastor of Unity CRC in Prinsburg, MN.

Pastor Steve and his wife Angela will visit Sioux Falls and First CRC on August 25, 26, and 27, 2023. During that time, Pastor Steve will be kept very busy, having several meetings with the Ad Board, full Council, and church staff.

In addition, Pastor Steve will preach at both morning services on August 27th.

We believe it is important YOU have an opportunity to meet with Pastor Steve and Angela! Plans are being made for a casual Question and Answer time with Pastor Steve on the afternoon of August 27th.

Further details regarding this weekend (and future congregational meeting) will be available soon. Once finalized, the August 25-26-27 visit schedule will be posted on the Lead Pastor Search webpage.
